‘Passenger’ turns ‘Muriyadi’

One of the refreshing Mollywood movies of the year, Renjith Shankar’s ‘Passenger’, will be shortly remade in Tamil. Titled as ‘Muriyadi’, the movie produced by K Balachandar’s Kavithalaya will be directed by Selva .

Sathyaraj will play the role of the ordinary man done in the original by Sreenivasan. While Ganesh Venkatraman will appear as the honest lawyer, played by Dileep in the original, the role of the journo played by Mamtha will be done by Remya Nambeesan in the remake. The movie will carry more number of songs by D Imaan, to suit the taste of Tamil audiences.

The shoot for the movie has already started in Pollachi.
